Frequently asked questions
How does ProTerrenas work?
ProTerrenas puts you in touch with professionals and local businesses in Las Terrenas: home, building and materials, health, beauty and wellness, supermarkets and colmados. You send a request using the form: only your WhatsApp number is required. Your request comes to our team, not straight to a provider. We call you back on WhatsApp to understand what you need and suggest a professional; your request is only passed on to them with your consent. There is no account to create and no online payment. Find out more on How it works.
Does it cost anything to send a request?
No: sending a request is free and comes with no obligation. If you then decide to hire a provider, the price of the work is agreed directly with them, ideally based on a written quote.
Who gets back to me, and how soon?
A member of our team contacts you on WhatsApp, at the number you gave us. It is not a provider who calls you first: we start by understanding what you need. We do not promise any timeframe, either for our call or for the work itself: it depends on the requests we are handling and on the professionals' availability. If there is immediate danger, do not wait for our call; dial 911.
Is my request an order?
No. A request is neither an order nor a commitment that anyone will carry out the work. It helps us understand what you need and suggest a professional. You are free to go ahead or not; the terms of any work (price, date, scope) are then agreed between you and the provider.
Why are so many prices shown as 'on quote'?
Because the price of a job depends on many things: the condition of the installation, access, materials and the scale of the work. We only show a rate if it was collected from a source, with its date; otherwise we show 'on quote' rather than put forward a figure. Always ask the provider for a written quote before work starts.
